On June 25, 2019 shareholder David Ezra presented “The Use of Mediation and Insurance in Construction and Other Disputes” along with Lexi Myer of JAMS and former Berger Kahn Shareholder Lance LaBelle of ADR Services. The three experienced mediators presented on important key updates from cases regarding mediation law, the impact of liability insurance on construction disputes, and various techniques to maximize mediation efficiency and effectiveness. Each of the three mediators discussed proper mediation procedure and were also able to share their personal experiences in the field, providing methods they found to be dependable along with new and innovative problem-solving strategies.
