Constitutional Rights Foundation Orange County held round two of their mock trial competition on Nov. 17, 2016, and Partner Erin Mindoro was there to support the effort as a volunteer attorney scorekeeper.
CRF’s Mock Trial Program is an academic competition for high school and middle school students. The program was created to help students acquire a working knowledge of our judicial system and gain an understanding of their obligations and responsibilities as participating members of our society. With the help of a teacher and a volunteer attorney coach, students prepare and present the trial. The students play a variety of courtroom characters including trial attorneys, pretrial motion attorneys, witnesses, clerks, and bailiffs.
