On Wednesday, May 5, Partner Erin Ezra, Paralegal Hannah Hong, and Associates Andrew Wyatt, Jamie Rice, Nan Nayyar, Jay Shaaban, and Walker Macon participated in a speaking engagement hosted by UCI’s Phi Alpha Delta chapter.
Phi Alpha Delta (PAD), founded in 1902, is the largest professional law fraternity in the world. Undergraduate students admitted into PAD receive aid and guidance from professionals in the field, as well as a social network of like-minded individuals aiming to succeed in the legal field.
In their presentation, the Berger Kahn team gave advice on what motivated them throughout law school and in their professions to this day. PAD members asked questions about the realities of working in insurance law, and Berger Kahn associates artfully and sincerely responded to student concerns and inquiries. Berger Kahn members expressed their passion for their work, what made them interested in law school, and what ultimately helps them overcome the biggest challenges. “Passion is the best motivator,” Associate Andrew Wyatt said.
Erin, Hannah, Andrew, Jamie, Nan, Jay, and Walker thoroughly enjoyed their time speaking to the eager and bright members of UCI’s Phi Alpha Delta and is looking forward to further assisting aspiring young professionals in the community!
