Berger Kahn is proud to name Heather Whitmore as our newest partner. Heather has been with Berger Kahn for over 10 years and she is an invaluable asset to our firm. Heather first joined Berger Kahn in 1998, and although she briefly joined Palmieri Tyler’s business litigation department, she returned to Berger Kahn in 2010.
From the beginning of her career, Heather set the bar high and maintained her standard of excellence. Over the last two decades, she has successfully arbitrated and tried cases in both federal and state courts. As a second-year lawyer, she was co-counsel on a case where the Court of Appeal clarified the scope of recoverable defense costs under California law. In 2012, she worked with partner David Ezra and managing partner Craig Simon on in the Yorba Linda Water District wildfire subrogation case, helping her insurance carrier client obtain one of the 10 largest judgments in California that year. In addition to practicing law, Heather now spends her time with her two wonderful sons and her rescue dogs.
We congratulate and commend Heather for her promotion!
