Claire Raney is a Law Clerk at Berger Kahn’s Ventura office, where her focus is labor and employment law.
Claire is pursuing her Juris Doctor at Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law, where she is an active member on the Arabian Competition Chair which hosts Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan, and the Moot Court Board. Prior to pursuing her law degree, Claire earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Human Rights at the University of Washington. While there, she was a Dean’s List Recipient, and a member of the Delta Zelta Sorority.
During law school, Claire has interned at the Customs and Border Protection, where she drafted penalty demand letters and penalty write-off documents, reviewed and edited settlement agreements, and conducted legal research. She has also interned at Peterson & Watts, where she gained experience conducting client intake paperwork, examined potential client claims, and reviewed depositions transcripts.
In her free time, Claire enjoys skiing, playing tennis, traveling, and cooking.
