Insuring Against 'Productive Laziness': Attorney Use of Artificial Intelligence

With the rise of Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) usage, concerns over the legitimacy and efficiency of attorney work have followed. Berger Kahn attorneys Erin Ezra, David Ezra, and Robert Kollar have explored these concerns in their newest Westlaw article, “Insuring Against ‘Productive Laziness’: Attorney Use of Artificial Intelligence.”  In this article, they discuss the negative implications which AI has on the legal field, the liability attorneys who misuse AI can face, and whether insurance could cover that liability.
