We’re excited to share some big news at Berger Kahn – we’ve officially opened a new office in Ventura, California, expanding our footprint and marking our fourth office location. The Ventura office opened its doors on Monday, January 5, 2026, and will be led by Monique L. Fierro, who has been promoted to Managing Partner.

Located at 476 E. Main Street in downtown Ventura, the new office strengthens Berger Kahn’s presence in Southern California and reflects our continued commitment to serving clients with localized insight and experienced legal leadership.

Monique Fierro, previously a partner with the firm, now assumes the role of Managing Partner of the Ventura office. She focuses her practice on labor and employment law and brings more than a decade of litigation experience to her leadership role. Monique is admitted to practice in both California and Washington, D.C., and has handled a wide range of employment-related matters, including discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination claims.

In addition to her legal practice, Monique is actively involved in the Ventura County legal community. She currently serves as President of the Ventura County Unity Bar and previously served as President of Women Lawyers of Ventura County in 2024.

The opening of our Ventura office is an exciting milestone for the firm and reflects our commitment to elevating proven leaders from within.
