Associates of Berger Kahn are encouraged to participate in various mock trial programs to boost and foster engagement with those aspiring to enter the legal field.

This year, Berger Kahn’s associates judged multiple mock trial competitions across Orange County. Walker Macon, Robin Reikes, Rachel Asiedu, Robert Kollar, Mohammed Alsafarrini judged the Constitutional Rights Foundation Orange County Mock Trial Competition. Robert Chan and Chad Hommes judged the University of California, Irvine’s Mock Trial. Tucker Phillips judged Chapman’s, Lewis and Clark Moot Court.

Meanwhile, Mishelle Sotelo of the Ventura office judged the Santa Barbara County High School’s Mock Trial Competition.

At these events, students receive real-life training and exposure to valuable, educational situations, further preparing them for their future legal careers. Their guidance helps students to develop critical skills in public speaking, problem-solving, and team collaboration. Berger Kahn strongly values community, and the team actively seeks out ways to give back and cultivate the goals of our up-and-coming generations.
