George Albutt serves as Of Counsel in Berger Kahn’s Ventura office, where his primary area of focus is employment law.
With 19 years of legal experience, he has represented employers before the California Labor Commissioner, resolved multiple wage and hour class actions, and provided counsel to employers, including policy drafting and implementation.
George attended BPP Law School in London, England, and graduated with commendation in 2002. George then attended Ventura College of Law in Ventura, California, and graduated first in his class with highest honors in 2006. He was also a winner of both the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence and the Moot Court competition.
Prior to attending Ventura College of Law and BPP Law School, George graduated from Oxford University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Theology in 2001, and Master of Studies in European Literature in 1999. He also graduated from Cambridge University with a Bachelor of Arts in German and French Literature in 1998.
George is a member of the United States District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California. He is fluent in German and excellent with French.
