On November 11, 2023, Berger Kahn Partner Erin Ezra and Senior Associate Jamie Rice volunteered as attorney judges in UCI’s 2023 Mock Trial Tournament.
Erin Ezra was a presiding judge for the UC Irvine E team versus Santa Clara University A team where Dylan Darwish from the UC Irvine E team was recognized as a Top Attorney. Jamie Rice was a judge for a round with ASU B team as the Prosecution versus UCI B team (who ranked 8th overall) as the Defense.
The Berger Kahn attorneys were extremely impressed with the performances and professionalism exhibited by the UCI Mock Trial participants. Berger Kahn is proud to see the hard work put forth by the next generation of legal professionals and will continue to work on guiding these participants.
