2026 Rising Stars
The Rising Stars designation recognizes attorneys who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been in practice for 10 years or less, and who demonstrate exceptional professional achievement early in their careers.
About the Selection Process
No more than 5 percent of attorneys in the state are selected as Super Lawyers, and no more than 2.5 percent are named Rising Stars.
Selections are made annually on a state-by-state basis through a patented multiphase process that combines peer nominations, peer evaluations, and independent research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. The objective is to create a credible, comprehensive, and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that serves as a trusted resource for both lawyers and the public seeking legal counsel.
