Arta A. Harizavi is an Associate (Pending Bar Admission) at Berger Kahn’s Lake Forest office, where she focuses on insurance and employment law.

Arta earned her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law, where she received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship. While at Pepperdine, she was a Moot Court Board Member, President of the Iranian Law Student Associate, Dispute Resolution Society, and volunteered at the Restoration and Justice Clinic.

Prior to pursing her law degree, Arta earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science – International Relations, with a minor in Iranian Studies from University of California, Santa Barbara. While there, she was a member of the Pre-Law Society, Persian Student Group, and Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority.

Before joining Berger Kahn, Arta was a Summer Associate at Tyson & Mendes LLP, where she helped complete various motions, prepared cross-complaints, and conducted legal research for memorandums. She was also a Law Clerk at MVP Law Group LLP, where she trained team members in essential discovery techniques, prepared deposition and cross-examination questions.

In her free time, Arta enjoys painting, heated yoga, and reading.
