Berger Kahn is proud to announce that Walker Macon has been promoted to Partner, effective January 1, 2026.

Walker has been with Berger Kahn since his time in law school and has consistently demonstrated exceptional legal skill, leadership, and dedication to the firm and its clients. His promotion reflects years of hard work, professional excellence, and a deep commitment to Berger Kahn’s values.

Based in the firm’s Lake Forest office, Walker focuses his practice on insurance coverage, including reimbursement and coverage-related litigation. He also has experience handling employment, entertainment, and other business-related contracts.

Walker is a respected voice in insurance coverage law and has been published in leading legal publications, including Reuters and Westlaw Today, with articles addressing complex and evolving coverage issues.

Walker earned his Juris Doctor cum laude, graduating in the top 15% of his class, from Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law. During law school, he served as a Staff Editor and later as Senior Articles Editor for the Chapman Law Review.

Beyond his legal practice, Walker regularly supports Project Youth OCBF through fundraising efforts and volunteers as a mock trial judge at local schools, reflecting his commitment to the legal community and mentorship.

Born and raised outside Boston, Massachusetts, Walker remains a proud New Englander and loyal supporter of Boston sports teams. Outside the office, he enjoys tennis, golf, skiing, music, and spending time with family and friends.
