Amanda M. Hamilton is an Associate (Pending Bar Admission) at Berger Kahn’s Lake Forest office, where she focuses on Insurance and Employment.

Amanda earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Irvine School of Law. During law school, she served as a Research Fellow for Professor McMahon and was actively involved in Women’s Law Society, the Public Interest Law Fund, and First-Generation Professionals. Prior to pursuing her law degree, Amanda received her Bachelor of Arts in History, cum laude, with a minor in Art History from the University of California, Los Angeles.

While in law school, Amanda gained valuable litigation experience as a law clerk at Lanzone Morgan LLP, where she drafted complaints, discovery responses, and appellate briefs in matters involving elder abuse, negligence, wrongful death, and violations of residents’ rights. She also volunteered with Innocence OC, where she assisted in post-conviction advocacy by researching and drafting supplemental briefs and working closely with attorneys and investigators to support claims of wrongful conviction.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys cooking, snowboarding, wake surfing, and spending time with her loved ones.
