Managing Partner Craig Simon was quoted in the Los Angeles Daily Journal after civil plaintiffs in the Woolsey Fire were given a more complete investigative report on August 6.
Said Craig Simon, co-lead for subrogation plaintiffs in the 2018 Woolsey Fire in Malibu California, “We plaintiffs want to be mindful of what is best for the public with regard to the criminal prosecution of Edison. We want to be sensitive but we also don’t want to be in the whipsaw where Edison is saying on one hand we need to put something in a pleading that we are going to test within the next 60 days and on the other hand, tell us that we can’t say certain things because it is confidential.”
