Catherine Taylor is an associate in Berger Kahn’s South Orange County office. Catherine focuses on labor and employment, and insurance coverage.
Catherine attended Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law in Orange as a merit scholar and graduated in May 2022 in the top 10% of her class. At Chapman, Catherine received CALI Awards for the highest-class grade in Copyright Law & Practice, Evidence, Federal Income Tax, and Practice Foundations Transactions. She also worked as an academic fellow for Contracts I & II.
Prior to her time in law school, Catherine graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Fullerton, with a B.S. in Biochemistry in 2018. She continued to obtain a master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine, in 2019.
Catherine’s experience includes graduate research and teaching at UCI while acquiring her master’s degree. Soon after, Catherine dove into law, serving as a law clerk in the Felony Panel, Homicide, and Gang/TARGET units at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office in 2020.
When she manages to take a break from professional life, Catherine stays active and enjoys indoor cycling, yoga, and baking.

On November 12 and 13, 2022, Berger Kahn attorneys volunteered as attorney scorers in UCI’s Mock Trial Tournament.
