Shareholder Sherman Spitz had the great honor of being designated the “Chief Justice” for the Southwestern School of Law Intramural Moot Court Competition held at the downtown Los Angeles Superior Court on April 1 and April 6. Southwestern’s nationally recognized Moot Court Program feature interscholastic competitions as oralists, brief writers or team coordinators in arguing an appeal of a hypothetical legal case – conducting legal research, drafting an appellate court brief and presenting oral arguments. This is a great opportunity for future attorneys to learn from experienced litigators in a legal setting, practicing their skills for the future.
