Brennan Lund Competes in Chapman University Fowler School of Law’s Moot Court Competition in Philadelphia

From February 20 to 22, 2020, law clerk Brennan Lund competed in Chapman University Fowler School of Law’s moot court competition at the James A. Byrne U.S. 3rd Circuit Courthouse in Philadelphia. The moot court competition was hosted by the ABA’s National Appellate Advocacy Division (NAAC) and judged by local attorneys and judges. The competition focused on criminal defendants’ constitutional trial rights, where Brennan’s team successfully competed to the semi-final round. Brennan received a perfect individual oral argument score from moot judge William H. Ewing during the quarterfinal round. In preparation for the competition, Brennan’s team researched a criminal defendant’s constitutional rights to exculpatory evidence during plea bargains. Brennan and his team attained invaluable experience through their teamwork and accomplishments.
