Over 125 friends, family and colleagues gathered at an event in memory of Berger Kahn Founding Partner Tony Shafton on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City. In Tony’s honor, dress was (of course) casual.  Held in the outdoor courtyard garden, the weather was perfect for the brunch and ceremony featuring shared memories of Tony, with speakers including Tony’s daughter Liz Bias, “The Whales” (and former college fraternity brothers) Gene Genson and Roger Ehrlich, Bill Kaufman, Justice William Rylaarsdam, Bruce Warren, Janice Ramsay, Managing Partner Craig Simon, and Tony’s wife Sandra Shafton. Tony was a unique individual, who liked to laugh and left a lasting impression on everyone who met him, and he will be missed by all.
