A principal at the firm, Steven H. Gentry has broad expertise in the fields of business, corporate and real estate litigation. His experience includes contract disputes, shareholder disputes, business torts, intellectual property issues, real estate matters, unfair competition and commercial collections. He has also represented employers in numerous employment law matters. In a practice that spans more than 25 years, he has had many successful court trials and jury verdicts in both federal and state courts, including several multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements.
Steve also has extensive experience in the insurance field, defending professional liability and product liability matters, and pursuing subrogation claims on behalf of insurers. In addition, he has authored articles on topics such as the recovery of pre-judgment interest, and presented client seminars on techniques for trial testimony.
Steve received a BS in electrical engineering from Princeton University in 1965 and a JD degree from Loyola University of Los Angeles School of Law in 1976. He is admitted in all federal district courts in California, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers. Steve has also served as Berger Kahn’s representative to the Gender Equity Committee of the Orange County Bar Association.
