In his bankruptcy and insolvency practice, Jason counsels distressed businesses, creditors, debtors, trustees, lenders, investors, landlords, tenants, shareholders, directors, spouses and other parties in all aspects of bankruptcies, workouts, turnarounds, restructurings and appeals. He has substantial experience in handling a wide variety of debtor-creditor disputes, and works with clients to assess the benefits and detriments of bankruptcy proceedings and alternatives in order to achieve successful outcomes.
Jason is extremely active in the community and has been recognized for his outstanding commitment to pro bono causes. He is a recipient of Public Counsel's prestigious William J. Lasarow Award for Outstanding Pro Bono Service for 2006, Public Counsel's Debtor Assistance Project Advocate of the Year for 2003, and a nominee for the State Bar of California's 2004 President's Pro Bono Service Award.
